Please meet little Mika. She is 11 months old and and a pure, West highland White. Absolutely stunning. She has a mild form of hip dysplasia. We have had her examined by vets and specialists who feel that due to her size and age, it does not effect her and no operation is necessary. She is like a normal puppy. A good diet, exercise, swimming which she loves and she will be fine. Obviously her condition must be taken into consideration when thinking about adoption. She has a full passport, innoculations, microchip and will be sterilised in the next couple of weeks. She is an absolute joy. We do not normally take the younger dogs, but her situation was desperate and the breeder only, kindly, made the offer to euthanise her !!!!

She is 9 months old and has a serious problem with her hips.

There are courses of action we can take and we have consulted with our vets before I made the decision to help her.

Her family are unable to cope and the original breeder has offered only one option!

Not happening.

She will be with us next week.
