Update on the hunt for a new van

After long talks and hours of searching we have been unable to find a semi decent replacement van under 8000. Not as good as our old girl. We cannot keep going without one, we wont survive. We received a quotation to repair her and having worked it all out with the amount your kind donations have raised, we made the decision to go ahead and have her repaired. With a rebuilt engine she will last more years and help us to rescue more lives. We have managed to raise nearly 4000 euros. On Wednesday we drove the 1100 klms return journey and paid the deposit of 3000. We managed to collect nearly all the rest of the belongings ,including, Mikeys pram. Please, if anyone can donate to help us meet the final bill we would be so grateful, as you can see we are coming up short. I have dug into my pension. We have food and, as always, vets to pay.Thank you James, who lent us his car for the journey and Sue Hammond who has been lending us their car to do shopping, vets etc. In 3 weeks we should be mobile again.
