My Name is Jacqueline and I am the owner, founder and Gofer at Barkinside Animal Rescue and Sanctuary in Spain.
We have been rescuing dogs here for over 10 years.
We have between 40 and 60 dogs or more at any one time, plus horses, donkeys, cats etc.. We help other rescues and work with traumatised, damaged,disabled and older dogs.
Our much loved van has recently died on us and without transport we are dead in the water and would have to close.
We have rescued over 700 dogs and homed 648.
We need help urgently and are appealing for funding to help us replace her and to keep going and saving more lives.
The van is in daily use for vets, boot fairs, collections, donations, the list is endless.

Our spending on food, vets bills, special dietary requirements, medical care is a huge monthly expense and we are in a constant struggle with it daily.
We always have over 30 dogs in our care and others coming in every week.
We are lucky to have a good homing rate. The more we home the more we can save.

The dogs below are either resident at Barkinside Sanctuary, with fantastic fosters or desperately looking for a family to love them.
We try to help any dogs we can, no matter of age, health, condition, or size.
Some of them have been here for a short time and sadly some longer.
Some will stay with us at the sanctuary for good.
Some of them are small and some large.
But they all just want to be loved.
They all have big hearts and are waiting to share them with families, or with us here.
They each have their own profiles or they are being created.
Please take a look and give those that can find a home a chance.
All dogs at the sanctuary have full medical and blood tests, full passport with innoculations and are sterilised or nuetured

Barkinside rettet Hunde aus der Region und ganz Spanien. Ich helfe auch anderen Rettungsaktionen, die meine Hilfe benötigen. wenn gewünscht und möglich. Das Tierheim nimmt jeden Hund auf, unabhängig von Alter, Gesundheitszustand oder Zustand. Sie werden betreut und rehabilitiert, finden ein Zuhause oder können für den Rest ihres Lebens hier in unserer Obhut bleiben. Wir helfen Hunden in den Tötungsstationen Spaniens, Freiheit und Sicherheit zu finden. Wir haben örtliche Pflegekräfte, die mir bei der Rettung, dem Zuhause und der Stabilität helfen. Wir retten Hunde, wo wir können, die als hilflos gelten, zu alt, krank, verletzt oder geistig verängstigt sind.

Diese Website fördert die Hunde in unserer Obhut und informiert regelmäßig über ihre Fortschritte und ihr Wohlergehen. Wir veröffentlichen auch Fotos und Informationen zu jedem Hund und dem täglichen Leben der Rescue Centre und Sanctuary und die Arbeit, die wir hier leisten.
Die gesamte Arbeit, die hier geleistet wird, wird von Menschen geleistet, die nichts als Liebe im Herzen für die Hunde und andere Rettungskräfte vor Ort haben.
Barkinside verfügt über ein großartiges Unterstützungssystem innerhalb der Hunderettung und der örtlichen Gemeinschaft, ohne das wir nicht weitermachen könnten.
Sie sind herzlich willkommen, uns zu besuchen, ich liebe nichts mehr als Besucher (zum Spielen, Spazierengehen oder einfach nur mit den Hunden zusammensitzen, es gibt speziell dafür reservierte Bereiche), oder bringen Sie Spenden, Gegenstände für die Boot-Messe oder hoffentlich auch Adoptiveltern mit /Sponsern Sie einen Hund.

PLEASE NOTE
Due to our already huge workload, the additional preparation and work required to support our new fundraising Car Boot Fairs has meant we've had to rearrange visiting times at Barkinside.
They are Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 2pm.
Strictly by appointment only.
On Saturday's we are now busy preparing for the boot fairs, and making some time for ourselves on Mondays gives us breathing space and time to unload the van, vets etc.
Our working day averages 14 to 16 hours, with 36 dogs, horses, cats etc, so please be patient with us.
