A quick update on Angel.

[7th August 2025]

She now weighs 21kgs ! Awesome. She weighed 13 when we rescued her.

Her dad has just booked them a holiday in a dog friendly hotel by the sea for 5 days in October.

I am so so happy for her.

Meet the oh so wonderful

Angel

We have only today added her to the album of dogs needing homes as the details and photos were so distressing.

We rescued her from the campo literally at deaths door.

Her injuries and neglect were truly awful, and unbelievably she had an owner !!!!

The police were of course involved and she is now safely ours and as she is doing so well, she is now available for adoption.

She has leishmaniosis, which is under control and being monitored closely.

Angel, and her injuries and wounds are recovering and healing well.

She is beautiful.

Despite enduring many attempts to cut her tail off and so so much other abuse Angel's main focus in life is still her relationships with people.

She is loving, playful, affectionate and kind.

We all adore her at the sanctuary.
