"I know in the work we do, that I'm not going to have most of my rescue babies for a long time. It doesn't make the loss and pain any easier to bare. This afternoon we have said goodbye to Princess. Rapid kidney failure, absolutely nothing we could do. Luckily it was quick. She gave me the look this morning. She wanted to go. I am honoured to have rescued her. To have given her months of love and joy, to have been with her and held her as she left us. Run free my Angel, I will see you again, I promise"

The very special and beautiful Princess. She is not a young girl and was neglected her whole life , only to be abandoned once her owners had died. She has a lot of issues, including tumours and heart problems. But with your help and support we are having them all attended to and treatment, she is getting better with each passing day
