[1st May 2026} Annette has posted an update for all you lovely Barkinside Supporters.

I dont know about you lot but so much of this short update is exactly what i want to see on the internet. So much bad news and even more bad news with a side order of bad news.

Mad Margo's story alone is an inspiration, a lesson in focussing on what yiou have, not what you don't have. I've never met Annette but I have so much respect for what she's done and the beautiful things her effort and devotion says about the relationship between Margo and Annette.

Margo doesn't dwell on the past, she already knows we cant do anything to alter it - we can change the future, and that's what Annette and her friends have done.

In a superficial world, the way Annette and her friends have acted on their convictions and this massive act of kindness will benefit so many grateful souls.

"Having completed my challenge of walking 100 miles throughout March I have collected all sponsorship and am absolutely delighted to have raised 1100 euros for Barkinside!!!

 This much needed sponsorship will help cover Margos vets bill following her surgery, paid by Barkinside.

I would like to thank all you lush people who very kindly sponsored me and made it worthwhile, so much love to you all.

We have been fostering Margo while she's been recovering, she has become part of our family, so we are making it permanent and adopting her.

She's back to her crazy self and being blind doesn't limit her, we're looking forward to having lots of adventures with her."
