Little Simba

Today we said goodbye to Little Simba.

Our old boy was blind. Leishmaniosis and heart problems.

Despite all this he had a grand life here, was spoiled and loved.

Grew to an old age and with us far longer than expected.

He fell asleep in the sanctuary in the sun.

Just as we hoped he would.

Sleep well sweet prince

Little Simba, a shy little boy, from the same hell as Mina.

Truly lovely nature, very sweet and loving.

Now 12 years old and at last in a loving safe place.
